Hi, I’m Emily, the creator behind Buffalo Grass Fiber Arts. My work is inspired by color, texture, patterns, and whimsey. I’m drawn to the tactile properties of fiber, and the energetic nature of colors. I explore movement, contrast, and unexpected combinations that feel both organic and playful.

Each piece I create is a reflection of intentional living — an invitation to pause and connect with the stories that shape us. By experimenting with the interplay of texture, pattern, and hue, I strive to create art that incites conversation about ourselves and our relationship to the world. I’m currently examining the role my art can play in uniting communities and fostering meaningful change.

I use materials sourced from local artisans, embracing sustainability and supporting the creative community around me. Whether you're drawn to subtle details or bold designs, each piece is thoughtfully crafted to bring beauty and originality into everyday spaces.

Outside of my studio, you can find me playing with my dog, Clover, lost in a book, or at a baseball game.
